Kenari Jaya, a Social Innovation and Eco-Innovation Program by PT Borneo Indobara
Ensuring the sustainability and the diversity of the environment is one of PT Borneo Indobara (BIB)'s top commitments. One of the many initiatives taken by BIB to encourage environmental stability is the Kenari Jaya Program.
The aim of the program is to keep the environment and marine life stable, by utilizing waste material from mining materials and converting it to rumpon or FAD (Fish Aggregating Devices. The impacts of this program has been felt by over 75 families in the local area, and successfully reduced fuel consumption in 2022.
