Morning Habits to Start!

You can start your day by hitting the snooze button, dragging yourself out of bed at the last minute, rushing to get ready, and then running out the door. Or, you can start your day with good morning habits. I recommend the latter. One of the most important things that you can do to ensure that you have a positive and successful day is to become consistent with how you spend your pre-work morning hours.

Unfortunately, some of us have never take the time to start a healthy morning routine. It is challenging to start a new habit, but we’ll make it easy for you. Baby steps! A slow progress is still a progress, and then you’ll realize that by creating a powerful morning routine, have been the most beneficial things you’ve done towards reaching your goals and becoming a more positive person. Here’s how :

1. Wake up two hours before you have to be anywhere.

This early start give you the right amount of time to work on yourself. If you wake up 20 minutes before you go somewhere, you don’t have the time to feed your mind, body, and soul. Well-being over anything, right?

2. Avoid playing with your phone after waking up.

As tempting as it is, this could derail your entire morning. Choose something that will help you wake-up in a healthy way. Like repeating your daily affirmation or journaling!

3. Stretching!

This tip helps the blood flowing to your muscles. This will reduce any soreness due to sleeping positions and now you’re more relaxed than ever!

4. H2O Refill!

Drink enough water to rehydrate your body. Water helps increasing your metabolism and freshen your body. This could reduce any confusion, fatigue, dizziness, that could leads to unproductivity.

The key to creating a powerful morning routine, is to find out what works best for you and then execute that plan each and every morning. A consistent one! These four practices are very simple and easy to do, and have a great impact on your well-being. Whether you use one of them or all four, they're sure to help you in your own pursuit of a powerful morning routine.
